Welcoming Dabov Caffee, our latest partner

DABOV Specialty Coffee has embarked on a journey that extends far beyond the simple act of serving a cup of coffee. Since its inception in 2008, the company has been committed to meeting the demand for high-quality coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and more in the Bulgarian market. What sets Dabov apart is not just the exceptional quality of its products but also its unwavering dedication to customer satisfaction. Over the years, customers have evolved into friends and allies, sharing the company's values, goals, mission, and occasionally, concerns.

Today, Dabov's flagship product is its coffee, known since 2014 under the brand DABOV Specialty Coffee. However, it's not merely a product; it's a project that begins at the farm and culminates in the cup. Dabov acts as the intermediary, bearing responsibility to both the farmer and the customer.

One of the core principles guiding Dabov's operations is ensuring fair compensation for the efforts of farmers. The company has chosen to offer a fair price for the farmers' labor, without engaging in bargaining or exploitation. Instead, they provide a dignified price for high-quality green beans, often surpassing the farmers' expectations by multiples. This commitment not only supports the farmers but also motivates them to improve their standards of living for themselves and their employees' families.

Dabov takes responsibility for the coffee from the moment it leaves the farm, ensuring proper transportation, storage, and roasting to bring out the best flavors. Their coffees, rated with over 86 points by international tasters worldwide, are offered through online auctions. These are the very coffees that Dabov chooses to purchase.

Founder Yordan Dabov has been the sole Bulgarian member of the jury at the prestigious international Cup Of Excellence competition since 2013. His participation aims to encourage green bean producers to cultivate higher-quality produce, fetching significantly higher prices in some cases.

Dabov selects farms that prioritize the quality of their coffee beans. The green beans arrive in special Grain-Pro packaging to preserve freshness and prevent damage during storage and transportation.

Packaging at Dabov Specialty Coffee's roastery is done meticulously, using triple-layered aluminum foil with the lowest permeability and a one-way valve to release carbon dioxide while preventing oxygen ingress. This packaging process occurs on the same day as roasting.

Dabov offers coffee in packages of 1 kg and 200.8 g. The smaller packaging commemorates the year of their establishment, and for normal daily consumption, 200.8 g is sufficient for a week.

The zip-lock feature on the packages allows for multiple uses and proper storage, ensuring that each cup brewed retains its freshness and flavor.

DABOV Speciality Coffee offers single-origin coffees, allowing customers to experience the distinct flavors and aromas characteristic of specific regions. They also provide blends, prioritizing consistency in taste over time, balanced flavors and aromas, full-bodied richness, and affordability, especially suited for espresso brewing.

Developing espresso blends that meet these intricate requirements sometimes takes months, involving tasting various coffees from different regions, each with its unique flavor profile. Dealing with Specialty Coffee makes this process even more challenging, as finding producers worldwide who consistently produce coffee of the same quality each year can be difficult, sometimes impossible.

Currently, Dabov offers four espresso blends, meeting the criteria of taste consistency, flavor and aroma balance, full-bodied richness, and affordability.

In addition to coffee, also are offered DelmarTe premium teas, carefully selected from a vast array of options. Their Chocotigo brand provides high-quality powdered chocolates for both hot and cold beverages, manufactured in one of Italy's finest chocolate factories.
